System health management is the key to providing cost wise readiness. System operators, maintainers and managers need to know the current and predicted status of the system and its ability to perform a mission over specific time intervals. The ability to perform a mission is based, in part, on system health and predicted health and ability to perform specific functions over specific timeframes.The Prognostics Framework provides a comprehensive diagnostic and prognostic reasoning capability that is deployed as an integral part of a system to alert operators, maintainers, and managers of the health of the system.
The Diagnostic Profiler and Diagnostician provide a comprehensive diagnostics reasoning capability that can be deployed as part of a portable maintenance aid, interactive electronic technical manual or test program set.
The Operator Debrief is a must for any system using an Interactive Electronic Technical Manual. It interfaces to the system or to data logged during operations by a data recorder, to perform initial assessment of system condition and any anomalies that occurred during an operation. It prepares this data as a series of conditions to be either confirmed by the operator and/or acted upon by maintenance. It links to the appropriate procedures in an IETM for resolution or investigation (troubleshooting) of anomalies.
