The Operator Debrief uses a Diagnostic Knowledge Base created by the Diagnostic Profiler and also uses a special database that is created by using the Operator Debrief development tool. The Operator Debrief development tool is separate option with the Diagnostic Profiler that enables the developer to:  

• Define the system data (operational data and anomaly data) that will be logged and provided as an input to an Operator Debrief session
• Combine the operational and anomalous data with a Diagnostic Knowledge Base generated with the Diagnostic Profiler
• Tailor how the fault annunciation will be presented to the operator for confirmation
• Define rules for filtering and grouping of certain classes of faults
• Tailor the outputs to the maintenance organization or, if applicable, maintenance information system.
