-
Filters out erroneous or false alarm failures
-
Groups consecutive occurrences and spurious indications into a single fault occurrence
-
Prepares a profile of the operation, including any anomalous system behavior
-
Interfaces with the operational crew to obtain confirmation of the anomaly, and identify operator observed or any other non-recorded anomalies or fault conditions
-
Performs initial diagnostics
-
Prepares a list of maintenance actions for further investigation/maintenance
-
Launches a context-sensitive IETM maintenance session, or saves data for later launching
